DigiGait Gait Analysis System is the method of choice for gait analysis! DigiGait fully monitors locomotion kinematics of mice, rats, guinea pigs and hamsters. Unlike other gait analysis apparatuses, DigiGait does not require external reflective markers to be attached to the animal for analysis. Instead, digital video images taken from the underside of the walking

animal are used to generate a digital paw print and gait signal for each limb which describe the posture and kinematics of animals that reflect strength, balance and coordination. DigiGait Imaging and Analysis Software automatically computes over 50 spatial and temporal indices of gait analysis including:
